My production company has released the first webisode of our new webseries, FEED. It's produced by Heroine Films in connection with Sundance-winner Anastasia King (American Blackout) and written/directed by NYIIFF winner Mel Roberston. It's political and edgy...with a pretty obvious liberal, anti-bush slant. you can see the first webisode (3 minutes long) at www.feedseries.tv and here is the trailer: |

![]() Read the words. READ THEM DIGEST THEM UNDERSTAND THEM then ... Sing them with all your heart. Sing them to those ( foreign powers and those who hold domestic offices ) who want to destroy our way of life that was fought for and defended with the life's blood of people worth far more than the smirking chimp who soils the office he has squat in this decade. SING THEM AND BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN ... especially if it seems hard to be so in our current times. cue the music boys --- Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected now shines on the stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner! O long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has wiped out their foul footstep's pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved homes and the war's desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation. Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust." And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! --- Sing it loud. Sing it proud! Remember, it's we the citizens who ARE America; not the gladhanding backbiting politicians. |

If you didn't know, one of the censored stories of 2007 is that whistleblower protection is broken. . . .actually the whole process of trying to expose corruption or waste that makes up whistle blowing is now more difficult. If you are concerned about what the federal government is doing, if you are afraid of big government, you need to wake up and look at this issue. If you don't like your tax money wasted, you need to understand that government agencies don't police themselves very well. If the GAO does a token effort at trying to correct the problems and fraud that happens in government and government contracts. Believe me, if this continues, waste in the government will continue to sap our country. A person I knew once told me that in her federal job, she thinks about 10% of your federal dollar is spent correctly. She worked for a department of homeland security. You will need to read more to understand how the courts and the Bush administration have change the whistleblower process. What it comes down to is this, the agency that is charged with defending government whistleblowers has reportedly been throwing out hundreds of cases. Mr Bloch is responsible for this, Special Counsel Scott Bloch. He was appointed by Bush in 2004, is overseeing the systematic elimination of whistleblower rights. That means as a whistleblower, you have more fear that your job is at risk, that you won't succeed in changing the system, and you won't get any benefit, only pain from the process. That means positive change in our government won't happen. Laws won't be followed, money and time will be wasted. From Jane turners blog: "It is interesting that people think the whistleblowing ordeal is over once a whistleblower has been exonerated. It is never over. A whistleblower’s career is shattered, and the tag of "troublemaker", "unpatriotic", "snitch" or "whistleblower" follows you forever. Why? Because the organization that you blow the whistle on (in my case, the FBI), never forgets what they see as a betrayal. It is never about what is wrong or right, justice or injustice, but simply that the whistleblower is not following the party line. The organization itself cannot feel anger and betrayal, but those leading the bureaucratic department certainly can, and they do. A whistleblower threatens the internal machinery of an organization, which many times have been set up to benefit the individuals who are running the organization."

Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done. See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." If they have, you need to add another!(2.b., 2.c., etc...) Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life. 1) Walked inside Lenin's Tomb in Moscow 2) Repelled Aussie style from a chopper at 200 ft 3) Made scones for a Princess |

Your result for The Fashion Style Test... Catwalk God(ess)
[Flamboyant Original Deliberate Sexy] You know fashion inside out but you're far from being its slave. To you fashion is what you decide to wear. You've got great, if unconventional, taste and plenty of courage to put your ideas into practice, which inspires admiration; but few have guts to copycat you. I suppose it doesn't worry you because to you originality counts. You are self-confident, perhaps even arrogant, and consider a day wasted when no one gives you an interested or shocked look. Great job. The opposite style from yours is Librarian [Tasteful Conventional Random Prissy]. All the categories: Librarian Sporty Hottie Office Master Uptown Girl/ Boy Brainy Student Movie Star Fashionista Glamorous Soul Fashion Enemy Bar Cruiser Kid Next Door Sex Bomb Hippie Kid Fashion Rebel Fashion Artist Catwalk God(ess) Take The Fashion Style Test at HelloQuizzy i believe "Bwahahahahaha" is the correct comment. |
